will are cars pass mot with hids in ?, i no hids are not ment to go in lights with reflectors and are ment for projector light, the 300 lights are projectors so would that be legal? are the 99 spc lights the same as in the projector part like the ones most of us have ?

Mine and several others have passed with HIDS, the regs state certain things need to be in place when testing, but if they are not there then they cannot be tested, ie self leveling etc.. as long as your beam pattern is correct it should pass

They should have washers and self-levelling. If they're factory-fitted you'll probably get away with it, otherwise try to conceal the wiring and have them warm when the car gets to the tester.

I have HIDs fitted no problem with MOT!

Exactly, if its not fitted it cant be tested :thumbup1:

HID is fine, no self levelling or washing is required, just a correctly set level that's it, even the left to right aim is removed now.
