I was going to order something from the states for my 300 but turns out its nearly as much to ship it here as it is to buy it ,is anyone on here doing a large order from Z1 ?

You also need to take into account the import duty which seems to vary according to the importer which may be down to their administration charge.

If you order anything from outside the EU, the you will get charged VAT once it arrives here, unless it is under something like $25.

 

I would suggets asking the sender to put a low value on the item, then it won't incur customs charges.

 

I picked up turbos many years ago, I got the sender to put on faulty turbos for rebuild with a low value, saved a fortune.

Just remember, if you do that and it arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all, the insurance only covers the declared value.
