got the cam covers all done ready to powder coat had to block off the old pcv hole feeds before i get them powder coated. i used a tap 3/8 bstp to make the thread and used plugs with gasket paste and wound them in, the powder coat can go over the lot now, also washed out all 4 covers with neat petrol then de greaser, and more so with the one i tapped so there was no fillings in it,

Cool dan, have you had any trouble with finding gaskets that fit properly??

i found some on ebay. seem ok, a little tight in the bolt holes. but i will make them wider before i fit. am talking like 3mm if that

Yeah I got mine from eBay and they're blowing, tight fit also:thumbdown:, I'm going to make some up out of a sheet of gasket material.

am going to use exhaust sealant with them

some parts back from powder coat. very nice gloss black. you can even see the sky reflecting on them, have 4 cam covers both water pipes. balance bar just waiting on the plenum now

I'm liking those rear flared arches Dan, Are they just flared or did you get custom arches welded in??
