My 3-digit handle from when I started getting into arcade games in the 90s.

 

I used to live in Whitby, as a youngster I chose school, football, biking and arcade games as opposed to truancy, breaking, entering and heroin addiction. There was literally just two paths to take, unless you were a farmer of course.

When Hotmail was first launched back in 96 or 97 I had just started college and everyone was getting stupid email addresses - it was just a silly name I chose from 'back in the day'.

 

Similarly....I was going for sumguy at hotmail but it was already taken. I was into blading back then and had a 'Shifty' branded wallet on the table next to me. So was born sumshiftyguy!

I got tired of meeting people through the club and saying "hi I'm Steve, z32bolt." So I changed it to my actual name. Makes life a damn site easier.

Mine is the username that my current employer and my old employer gave to me with my name being David Coop (funny it was with 2 different companies) so its stuck from there really.
