Not a fan of the looks of the later Evos but that's certainly gonna be a lot of fun!

Really? I'm the other way round. I thought the earlier ones looked dreadful and they've aged REALLY badly. This is just ugly - a Mitsubishi Carisma with a giant spoiler.

The Evo 5/6 are my favourites as it happens! The TME in particular is really nice. 7-9 just look too bulky to me, in the same with that the Altezza's successor looks compared to the original. The 10 is better.

So how do you compare the evo to the zx? I had a week moment and considered swapping my z for a evo as an all year round toy.

Looks wise the zed wins hands down of course.

As an all year round toy however the Evo is superior in just about every department IMO.

Still wouldn't swap my zed for one though :)

Not the answer I wanted haha! Oh well, the snow is gonna clear soon so my cravings for a turbo 4*4 will be on hold at least until next winter. What about power then? Is there any torque or is pretty high strung like every other 2l four pot?

Awesome fun! enjoy :D benefit of 4wd being that you can actually use a lot of that power I imagine?

There is a mean looking supra with a claimed 750BHP on ebay at the mo which I would LOVE as a toy :p

Here you are Pete a few pix to show what the car looks like up close. Lot's of added work to get it through the MOT great attention to detail.
