Hey folks as per title I'd like to know what would be a good buy for a pair of smics. Im not looking to get 800+bhp but I am after the max amount of ponies out of the stock engine with the following mods:

EGR/Water delete

Carbon canister delete

K&N air filter

Decat, Down pipes

Veilside exhaust

Boost controller

Intake hard pipes

To be done

555 injectors (on hand)

smics

??

What I've been looking at are:

Would like to know what people have and would suggest, opinions and anything else I can/should do. With the current set up I got 366. Had some work done and its dropped to 340. The injectors and smics will give me more but I'm thinking if I can get 450 or more on this set up then ill be a happy camper.

Thanks

Not at all, valid points I think. Especially the exhaust part as that seems to be a poor design. My Peugeot 308 which has a small 3cyl turbo has a side mounted intercooler, with a big louvred exhaust vent on the inner fender liner. Seems like a good design and the vent is removable so I'm thinking of buying a couple to retrofit to my zx when I upgrade the smics, I've seen people use those bathroom/household vents but those are pretty rigid plastic and not soft like the arch liner

Sport Compact Car's project 300ZX covered vents in the liners (scroll down to Improved Intercooler Airflow):
