Its just being kept with my collection of model cars and other Z items I have. don't think it will be ever fitted to the Z.

Ha I'd never heard of this, had to google it! I'd seen the black things on the front of the bumpers and wondered what they were. Weird idea really!

I bought one a few months ago too... You should refurb it also, it's easy. Just mask the Bose logo.. I lightly sanded it, wiped with part cleaner, added a light coat of spray primer and used a automotive black. I lost my cellphone storage but it finishes the look of the dash and Hydrodip carbon bezel nicely in my opinion.
