There has been a few interested parties that want to be apart of the NEC so I just wanted to gauge how many of you would like to take part this year.

This may not be for everyone as being the classic car show we need the highest of quality as we can for the show and a few rules to go.

1.) You need to arrive more than likely pre 9AM the day before the show starts for setup.

2.) Your zed can't be removed from the stand until the late evening of the following Sunday.

3.) The hotels may be part subsidised by the club but this depending on interest and costs. (we will know after we gauge the interest).

4.) Meals need to be paid for by the individuals, ie. its not JAE so we cant have a BBQ, :(

I would......

......But do not think my Zed is good enough for the standard required..... Not to mention, I'd probably not be able to commit myself or my car for the duration...

....So it's no from me...

But we need to know potentially, who would; as I have to book our place by March - and state with certainty how big a stand we will require.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I voted 'yes' but as a backup car to give others an opportunity. :)

My Z will look a little different too by the time the next show is upon us! :D

To paraphrase X-Factor: "It's a yes from me!"

Mine will have changed slightly by then too :)

What you upto ?

TwinZ rear spoiler, paintwork, coilovers (dropping the car a little more).

I thought you said you were going more stock :)

I am - because I am going to refit the rear washwipe, aerial and a more stock/subtle interior - and steering wheel.

C'mon then, why? Especially the aerial... that's gonna be a chore to do, surely?!

One day... Hopefully next year I'll have my zed just how I want it. But it'll probably take longer than that :(

The 2 reasons I bought my Zed; 1.To own one of my childhood dream cars, 2. To show it off at classic/japanese car shows.

It'll get there :)

Hopefully not. I didn't have the section cut out. I just want to go back to a near-stock body. The Z32 is a time-piece and I want to keep it that way. I still haven't totally decided on it though, but pretty sure I'll get that done. I want ALL the functionality from the car from when it was launched, so that includes a HICAS overhaul and refitting everything it came with - apart from the emissions control horse shit!

I'd be interested in showing my zed. I think the exterior is definitely up to show standard, engine & interior not quite there but I could sort that. The only problem I have is time, by then I'll have 2 kids, 2 1/2 & 6 months so can't stay the whole weekend. Maybe come the Thursday & come back Sunday morning if that's possible.

That's what Mandy did when she showed Zebedee a few years ago. She went home on the Thursday PM and came back on the AM Sunday.

In that case I'd definately be interested in going.

It is good to have people on the stand though, particularly for Saturday and Sunday as it does get really busy at times.

I might be able to get there for both days, just trying to think ahead as it might be difficult.

I'd be interested but I've got two niggling thins to fix first

It'll be going to Guys and then to Jimmer but if the money works out I'll have both done

I gave it a lot of thought last year once Mondo bugged out but ultimately my bodywork was not up to it.

However in 10 days time i am getting a front area issue that's bugged me re aligned and then it's all systems go for a Spring i think respray, so in theory it's another yes from me ;).
