Well my zeds now formally booked for end of Feb for its rust problem, as it needs both sills arches and the door looked at, as well as the new bumpers, and skirts, it doesn't leave much of the original car, so it's now changing colour...

99 spec front, with a black car.mad lip

Kaminari side skirts and twin z lip,

Twin z rear

Wheels refurbished in anthracite

And the body in OE Nissan EJ0 gold like I wanted to paint my old zed.

Decided it's still Nissan, but different without being too loud.

If anyone has any thoughts suggestions or reasons not to I'd like to hear, but I'm pretty set on the idea now, and our bodyshop are game.

If you want Ash if you put up some pictures of your z ATM I could Photoshop it like I did to mine to be gold so you get a better viewcof what it looks like.

I have to say the gold colour is growing on me :)

That's not gold mate, that's a pearl browny type of colour:laugh:

In fact if it's the car I'm thinking of it's actually silver lol. Just a funny pucture.

I think it's a pretty cool colour:thumbup1:

Here's a couple for Ash:biggrin:

Think the gold will look well with Ash's planned parts:yes:

I think colour is a personal choice, the gold originally suggested looks great. The cars we drive are an expression of ourselves and thank goodness we are all different. Go with the gold man, it's cool. :-)

I like that gold colour . I've had a gold uk s13 200sx years ago on a f plate wonder if it's the same Nissan gold .

love the colour choice but i do think your making a huge mistake on anthraicte wheels on a gold car ...even with a polished lip they are going to clash and detract IMHO the centres need to be much darker than anthracite to set off the gold and make it work to its best ....but as i said love the gold colour.....used to love ford aztec gold

I really struggled choosing the wheel, still not 100% I'm going to leave them till after the cars painted so I can do some photoshoping and see what looks best,

Has anyone any suggestions on wheel colour? Not a fan of black wheels against gold.

I can't see any reason why a dark grey wheel wouldn't work nicely against gold paintwork. I think they'd be a nice contrast. :)

Black wheels are, for me, a complete "no" - I can't think of one single occasion, other than a completely black car, where they look even passable! Just my opinion, but I hate 'em!

I think this shorty looks really good with these polished wheels?

The wheel colour will be based on wheel choice.. Some wheels look good in any colour on any colour of car...

If you go for really good rims ie. 3 piece, polished rim with black, polished, anthracite or gold centres can look cool:thumbup:

Racing Hart wheels, like on the TopSecret 350z posted above look great in any colour, silver, gold, black, bronze, anthracite, polished. It's the wheel that makes the car:thumbup1:

BMW shadow chrome was suggested by a mate,

I'm keeping the existing wheels I like rota gtr's that and I've a few sets of tyres for them now... So polished lip won't work,

Current wheels.

Ah sh*t!! I've been outta this game for FAR too long!!! Joel's correct, Volks GT-C's, Ash, if you can spring for the likes of Volks, SSR's, Works, Veilsides etc you'll find that the wheels will tie in better with the Z. I know they're crazy money but so was the Z in it's heyday, they just compliment each other perfectly, expensive Jap wheels on an expensive Jap sports car:thumbup1:

There you go mate

I have to say, that actually doesn't look bad:thumbup1: Nice work with the photoshopping:thumbup1:

Thanks, your definitely better at that then me lol,

Thinking maybe even a leaving the wheels that colour.

I kinda what to keep the spats now though...

To be fair, his current wheels are modelled on expensive Japanese wheels (NISMO LMGT4) and they look the business [emoji106]

You could still have a polished lip on your GTRs, one of the colour options with them was with a polished lip. Personally, I like wheels to be silver, darker wheels tend to hide the definition in the design and with such a nice looking wheel, you want to show it off!
