In Greek mythology, a phoenix or phenix (Greek: φοῖνιξ phoinix) is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.

So from the ashes or parts of Purple Rain she will be reborn !

May the new build thread begin.

^^ you'd need some HUGE arch rolling exercise to fit those, the rears especially.

That's a pretty good price to be honest. My 19s cost me nearly £3,000 by the time they were landed and duty paid on them.

I now have a contact for JDM wheels and he might be able to get me a bit of a discount:thumbup:

I'm thinking of these Work SP's

prefer one with a stand.

Actually what we need is a full on walk in garage.

Yep with you on that mate..

Those are truly fantastic, I'm sure they would cost at least 500 per corner. Well worth it though but maybe something to look forward to in the future.

I've already priced them up:

19x9" x2 and 19x10.5" x2 comes to £1,826.64.

The equivalent specs in 18" comes to £1,560. Based on GT Silver centres and polished rims, custom offsets.

That's a good price for quality alloys.

More good news !!!

The insurance money has just cleared into my account so just need to set a date to pick up the new zed.

Santa has arrived :)

For those Work Emotion wheels it would cost me at least £1200 without the tyres if I got the 19's

That's pretty good!

Did you get the full whack Lee ?

That guy also does cheaper wheels, namely "Japan Racing"

I think these would look real well on a purple Z. Pricing starts at £135 each for 18's:thumbup:

Which work emotions for that price?

Now how the hell do I work out the offsets I need.

Options I have

Front - 8.5" ET30, ET38, ET45

Rear - 9.5" ET12, ET23, ET30, ET38

Your best options there are ET30 all round but you will need spacers up front (10mm).

Nice one Lee, good to see it all coming together for you, out of tragedy and all that

ok,

Thinking about ordering these very shortly, before I do anyone else have any thoughts on my setup.

First off this is the wheels I plan to get Work Wheels Emotion D9R.

d9r-silver_1.jpg

Front - 19" - 8.5" ET30

Rear - 19" - 9.5" ET30

And for the tyres going with Pirelli PZERO.

pirelli-pzero.png

Front - 235x35x19

Rear - 265x30x19

Suspension setup will be MeisterR Zeta-S and swapping over what remains of my driftworks kit.

So I have adjustable front and rear camber arms, tractions rods, front and rear lower arms, hicas bar.

I'm also getting the rear arches rolled again to make way for the larger spec wheel / tyre.

A nice wheel. Front offset is a little weak though. What other options for widths/offset are there for that wheel? I'd also go a size wider on the tyres and a 30 profile on the front.

Rear - 10.5" ET15, ET23, ET30 (wasn't sure if this would fit)

Ok, so you've gone for the best you can. 10.5"@ ET30 would require a bit of a roll. I'd suggest getting spacers for the front wheels in that case, just 10mm hubcentric ones. You'll need slightly longer studs. You'll have a wonderful flush fitment all round then.

So ET30 all round then and I think i'll stick to the 9.5 at the back.

will 275 fit on a 9.5" wheel ?
