Right i need some advice and have to word this quite carefuly.Ok i work for a catering company that takes food to airlines at Gatwick.About a month ago i went to use the toilets in my unit and was disgusted to see that someone had been standing on the seat,had a shxt and left it all over the seat and floor and just left it without clearing it up,without flushing toilet.I took a photo of this and took this as proof to my manager.They said it would be dealt with and i assumed that would be that.

Today however i went to use these toilets again and 3 out of 5 cubicles had to be blunt,shit all over the seats,clogged up with loo paper etc.Absoloutly ****ing disgusting animals that had been standing on the seats,as the seats were broken.Ive taken pictures of all 3 of these and im no einstein but i think i can rule it out being English or East Europeans in our workplace.

So what do i do now ?can i inform some health agency?. would it have to be anonymous though as im guessing we cant upset a certain section of our workforce and i dont want any race card played against me.I have photo proof of toilets

I think you need to be careful here. To say it's X group of people is going to do exactly that, raise the race card, because that's actually exactly what your doing. You can't take that whole group. If you have suspicion of certain people then it may be worth mentioning them by name rather than there eye colour (if you get what saying) Regaurdless of their nationality you need to be pretty sure or have evidence of someone's misdoings. Accusing people without proof will cause just as much grief as accusation via race....

Thread carefully and think about what you know rather than what you suspect.

Ok we defo have a big suspicion of at least one person who we have seen on 2 seperate occasions go into canteen,grab a handfull of tissues then go into toilets.Kind of strange when toilet roll is in there

Funny you should mention this as we have exactly the same problem, although there's often a lot of blood as well... worrying.

Good advice above and keep at the management team to sort it out.

WTF!! Some people need a lesson in GOOD MANNERS!!! Take it to the Management, they get paid the big bucks, let them sort it out, maybe inform them to put a lock on the door and get people to ask for the key? (Childish I know but if they want to behave like kids!!) the management could then keep an eye on the situation!! F*ckng disgraceful behaviour!!

Amazingly I might be able to offer some sensible advice here!

I used to run food retail shed stores and I was a food hygiene trainer.

As such I spent a lot of time dealing with environmental health officers.

Your employer has a duty of care to you to provide a safe workplace and therefore they have a responsibility to investigate and resolve this.

Unfortunately this is something that junior managers will often shy away from due to inexperience and being frightened of raising the race and religion cards.

My advice here is to report this to Environmental Health anonymously.

The company will then have no option but investigate or they risk an external agency taking over.

It looks like the problem is a faith based one , as some religions go as far as to even stipulate which hand you wipe with (the left in case you are wondering- that's why we shake hands with the right)

It sounds like you have people there whose faith prohibits them from touching the toilet seat as it is believed to be unclean.

The solution to this is separate toilet facilities sadly.

time to shut the borders now we all know full well who is doing this we are just in a position were we cant say or doing anything time they all f*&ked back of home now you dont like are ways why the f*&k do you even come to the uk you dirty f*&king t*&ts and that goes for all the do gooders as well i case you dont know what one is (a well-meaning but unrealistic or interfering philanthropist or reformer)

Respect is respect Regaurdless. If your belief is not to sit on the toilet then hover, it ain't hard. Standing on and making a complete mess is just vandalism regardless.

 

I think the key option is best. That way it's easy to catch the culprit who ever they are and punish them according for the vandalism they have comidetted. Simple. The rest is immaterial.

strong but true dont get me wrong am not racist but i really do feel that something has to be done here in the uk, we cant go on like this the british way of life is slowly dripping away its very sad. but we will be over run oneday. anyhow back to the point if you dont like the way we life why come here to start with, and the answer is due to the uk being a better country than were you just came from so why come here then start problem makes no sense to me

We suffer from reverse racism now where in the eyes of the law the majority are in the wrong.

My advise is in dealing with an individual problem.

But it is just rude to visit another culture and assume you have more rights in their land than they do.

The worst thing is it gets mixed up with religion and that's when the problems start.

I understand not touching the toilet seat because your faith tells you not to.

What I don't understand is looking back at your S**t on the walls and thinking that's ok.

My approach is there are only 2 types of people in the world regardless of race creed or religion.

Quite simply my type of people and W*****s

what we have here is the second category who at the drop of a hat will hide behind their race

Back on topic here...Its a not a very nice feeling to know that these same people who are sh1tting the place upside down are working with our Airline food:( One of many reasons i dont eat on aircrafts.

Thanks for the help fellas.My Girlfriend who is a manager in a care home also suggested i anonymously contact enviromental health.cheers pebkau...However i also strongly agree with Dan on this in that we know pretty much who it is.I feel really sorry for the cleaner who has to actually clean this up,personally i would refuse...and z nut..i dont eat in the canteen and bring my own sarnies in,pretty poor for an airline catering company!!!..Im sure the airlines who happen to be the 3 biggest at Gatwick would go nuts if they knew.
