Performance should be about the same as those I expect, however the larger V6 will have more potential.

Oh and welcome.

Welcome Taff, the stock TT has just under 300hp, and with a good exhaust and intake you can make about 350, and even more quite easily with a boost change and ecu tune.

You need more than an exhaust and intake to make 350

Welcome Taff and you are looking at 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and top speed of 155 for a standard Z.

5.6 if you can get a perfect launch. 179 if you take off the limiter :)

Thanks Guys........ what psi can the turbos run safely on the standard set ZX?

With standard injectors, safe with 12psi, can push to 14psi.

Really, increasing the boost from stock level safely should involve a remap - it's not limited to injector size by any means.

The remap was implied. anything much above 14psi will need bigger injectors i believe, correct me if I'm wrong.

Anything above stock boost should ideally have a remap to ensure the fuelling is where it needs to be. Yes, plenty of people run higher boost without touching the ECU, but the OP specifically asked what PSI the turbos can run, not whether the injectors or the management could handle it :)

Stock turbos are capable of pushing over 20psi, but they loose a lot of their ability after about 19psi, after that your just pumping really hot air. Most choose to up to 14 to 16psi which gives a good return and retains some safety and life on the turbos themselves. Obviously you have to match the increase with fuel. Anything more than stock should really be accompanied by a good chip or ideally a remap. Obviously the stock injectors have their limitations as do the other supporting equipment.

As a basic set, a good quality cone filter, cat back, decats and the chip and boost increase to 14psi, should see around 340-350fwhp.
