I don't understand how any Z gets into such a state of dilapidation. They're specialist vehicles - you'd have pride in buying one and subsequently their upkeep.

The answer to this is surprisingly simple: they were (in some cases, still are) "cheap" to buy. The car in question is an NA to boot, so not as sought-after as a TT.

Owner buys it cheap and, in his head, decides that a "cheap car" isn't worth spending a lot on maintenance-wise. So it starts to become a little shedlike!

Now the prices are on the rise, people who buy them will (hopefully) no longer think of them as "cheap cars" and subsequently start to look after them. Like the majority of us lot do.

They were sold to cheaply a few years ago and when things went wrong and they need parts thats when the shit hit the fan and bad repairs were carried out or they were sold for parts. Its slowly changing now with owners that want the best for there Z and very few bad ones out there now. But in my opinion they are still being sold to cheap.

Hi Guys, Sorry that was the breaker that I got the exhaust from. Good spot though, eagle eyes! The car was mostly a wreck, but does have a set of midguards which I think are quite sought after? Think he wanted £70 for the set.

Best, W

Ha! That's where I got my zed parts - top guys Tom and his dad and some rather interesting cars inside the garage as projects they're working on
