I'm from The Netherlands and own a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo.

 

I bought it about 4 months ago, it was offered for parts, I immediately bought it from internet without seeing the car itself in real.

It has no transmission or engine in it (yet), but I didn't cared.

 

I saved it and want to restore it completely one day to it's original showroom condition.

 

Here are some photos from the day I picked it up...

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most interior parts where stored inside the car, the rear bumper came also with it, so for most part it was complete.

Only one inerior panel is missing and the drivers window. (+the engine and transmission then)

You still need to take the bumper off and find out what is going on with its fixings.

Would it be worth to do all that work already knowing that I need to replace the front bumper?

 

I'm not going to register the car already, next year most likely also not.

Before I'm ready to register it, I can already make the car perfect and replace the front nose when I have bought one.

I found this front bumper in the US, it came from a '96 model.

There are no differences no between a '94 and '96 model?

 

(nobody in the UK has one for sale?)

Give it time and one should come up.

Need one without those big holes in the front.

I have a bracket to screw on the license plate.

I have two n/a front bumpers, one I think is off a 91 vert and is black, the other is a 95 and off a 2+2 pearl Jspec.

 

They're both going to have number plate holes but it's going to the bodyshop anyway, so I wouldn't base your searches on the holes.

Look at the post 5 vid, it is a rear number plate that's fitted and can you see the holes :2guns:.

As I said earlier pearl colours are a challenge to match .

The one at the Toyko Auto show was an auto.

I missed that detail! LOL!!

I found a front bumper, but...I see "Nissan" written into the front part.

Which Nissan's did this have?...a specific year?

They don't look very original to me.

Are these how they should be?....

I brought the Nissan convertible to the warehouse where it will stay nice and dry.

I also removed the mudflaps, looks much better without them...

I'm located in Dronten.

I'm going to order a few parts from the US soon, I only still need a new original front bumper then.

Anyone has one close to Taylorsville, NC?
