I took the dogs for a good long walk around the village yesterday afternoon as we all needed to stretch our legs, and I was quite surprised to discover that I am not alone...

Whilst on our travels, I came across (not literally, I might add! ) a silver 350Z about half a mile away, a ginger 350Z Roadster a little further along and, very surprisingly, a Z31 300ZX less than 5 minutes from my front door!

Four different Z cars (including mine) within a 3 mile radius of each other! I don't think that's bad going for a sleepy little village like mine.

I may give the Z31 owner a knock to see if I can have a nose around it. Not sure if it's on the road or a project... doesn't look great but, then again, doesn't look bad per se.

Just thought I'd share that fairly useless bit of information with you all! :thumbup1:

Pics!

He went for a walk Jay, not a photo shoot!!!

In the current day and age, I'd say if Si did go walking around taking photos of people's parked cars it wouldn't be long till the Boys in Blue turned up as he'd look like he was scoping out cars to steal.:whistling: These are the times we live in:thumbdown:

Did you see any Micras, Cherrys or Bluebirds?

Now you're talking, U11 Bluebird FTW

SEXY!

Most 80's cars have 'some' retro appeal - 80s humdrum Nissans however have absolutely none of that.

To be honest, Nissan as a brand over here are pretty weak. NMUK do very little to push their brand as a 'cool' brand as most of the vehicles on offer here are dull insipid econoboxes. There's been almost no Nissans in motorsport in the UK - sure, we see them at LeMans and other GT events, but that's pretty much it. NMUK are a marketing machine.

Euro Nissans have always been drab and Nissan is still not a 'cool' brand like it is in North America for instance as their range of cars is far more appealing.

I actually don't like Nissan at all. I like the GTR, but before that, the only car I liked was the 300zx. As much as I love the 300zx, I have little regard for Nissan as a brand, there's very little to get excited about.

I think Nissan was interesting in the 80s in Japan - the Skylines were of course cool and the facelift Z31 along with some other cars. I like the Bluebird too!
