Im making myself a set of custom boost jets to replace the welding nozzle tips that are currently secreted in Zebedee's pipework.

Can anyone tell me what size the hole is in the nozzle, I think from memory its 1mm.

Eventually i'm going to get rid of the jets all together but for now I want them to install using 2 jubilee clips to make it easier to troubleshoot them in future.

Problem at the mo is the OD of the nozzle is about 1mm larger that the ID of the rubber tubing making it a faf to push in so i'm going to reduce the OD of the new jets to make installation a lot easier.

get a boost controller Ian.:)

Be wary of cheap boost controllers! Especially the ebay/china stuff.

I blew up and engine in my datsun because one couldn't keep the pressure and peaked at over a bar of boost, sucks when you only have petrol enough for a half... Almost blew a turbo primera with the same one, that's when I bought a forge motorsport one...

1mm will give you about 14 to 15 psi, 0.8 will give you 16-17 psi but the problem with 0.8,s is that they block up giving you piston melting boost. Honestly get yourself a Noz manual BC..perfect and fully controllable too:cool3:
