Looking at some new alloys, found the one's I want and they are 18x10 et25.

Will these be flush with the arches and not require spacers or arch rolling.

What tyre sizes would you recommend going with?

Cheers

They'll definitely require rolling, both front and rear; rear especially and quite substantially. I'm running 10" rears at ET40 and they fit dead flush (I have also lightly rolled the lip. The fronts will also stick out of the arches.

JimmyTT or Funkysi are the guys to answer this for you mate, are you planning on running 10x18's on the front?? I think you'll need arch rolling if you are

Hmmm so in terms of the perfect set up for wheels being flush with the arches with out any modifying, what would you recommend front and rear? I was told 18x10 et35 would work front and rear??

You said ET25 at the top!? 10mm makes a big difference when you're fitting wheels that wide, especially on the front.

18x10 et35 would fit on the rear but you'd need to choose tyres carefully and probably need a fair bit of stretch on a stock arch. To avoid the requirement for stretch or contact, I would recommend a mild roll.

On the front, I'm unsure about clearance on the inside with that width and offset. Outer arch clearance will be nice and flush but you will likely get scrubbing on full lock. You will have to modify the mounting tabs for the arch liners or remove the liners.

Ride height and camber will have a major effect on those sizes, they're not what I would call a straight forward fitment.

Yeah sorry first sizes were from a set of specific alloys i'd found, whereas the second were advice received from another member.

Lots to think about, conversely having a look at a previous thread perhaps it'd be better to go with 9.5's front and back et20?

I think you need to research your offsets more. 9.5 ET20 front and back will need arch work, tyre stretch and camber!

Yep research clearly required!

I just assumed there would be a generic alloy size/width and offset you guys use when wanting to bring the alloys flush with the arches.......today's lesson is never assume!

There's nothing generic about wheel fitment. :)

Your best option is for a staggered fitment. 8.5 or 9" at the front, 9.5 or 10" at the back. 9.5" @ ET 35 and 10" @ ET40 are going to give you the best look for the rear with 8.5" @ ET25 or 9" @ ET30 on the fronts. Tyre size then needs to be calculated.
