Hello everyone,
So I bought some "new" volk f-zero wheels recently and can't wait to get them on. They are 17 x 9 et 45 on the front, and 17 x 10 et 48. I had a quick look against stock and thought yeah that will be fine, before noticing the HICAS!! :(
So I have worked out that on the rears I will be 6mm wider on the outside (fine), but on the inside I will be 32mm wider!! Oops. Obviously this won't work with HICAS and will hit the linkage. So what are the options?... I have 15mm hubcentric spacers, which will reduce it to 17mm wider on the inside, but will this still be too close? I can't tell at the moment as I don't know the sizes of the wheels on it currently.
If spacers would work then I can get some extended hub bolts which should be okay? Also the spacers I have aren't bolt ons but are apparently hubcentric, will they be okay? Personally I am thinking stick the 15mm on the front perhaps and get some decent hubcentric bolt on 20 or 25mm spacers on the rear?... Hmmmmmmm
Cheers!! William
