There have been a lot of really good deals going about on Facebook recently so much that you start to question the legitimacy of them all.

We all know certain parts for the zed are now unavailable so when a deal comes up for a set of 99 spec headlights which state they are

boxed as new and all for under £300 you have to stop and think for a minute.

Unfortunately for some people they never saw the signs and fell for this sham and have paid and lost there hard earned cash.

So this is just a simple warning to think and seek advice either from us or other users before gambling your cash on something like this.

Thanks

Yes indeed Lee and just to add to that if the seller insists on payment through Western union never listen to the excuses they give for not using PayPal instead. Western union payments are certainly always a scam just walk away.

But Prince Mustafa sounded really trustworthy and he has obviously fallen on hard times since having leave his native Nigeria.

That's why he needs my bank account details to move all those Dollars.

You guys are right though "if it sounds too good to be true it is too good to be true"

You'd want to be skeptical of anything like this. The guy is (supposedly) in a foreign country and has poor English. He's selling rare and discontinued parts for peanuts. He might well actually have a Z32, as he must have some knowledge of the market demands. He probably even has the parts based on the pictures he posted, but is that enough to trust him?

I have a guy wanting to buy my engine through paypal, but lives in barbados . He said he used to be a member on here, but he isn't listen. He wants me to ship the engine to wolverhampton for his guy to rebuild the motor before shipping it out there... sounds like a scam to me .

Dont trust it unless you get the cash done as a bank transfer,

Paypal accounts can be stolen and payments reversed days after the payment has gone through.

big rex 2 couldn't see my username and I couldn't see it either. I'm trying to assure him I'm not looking to scam him, just need a block for my car and it's convenient for me to ship from the UK to Barbados. Sorry if I broke any forum rules but haven't used the account in ages.

Ironically I woke up on Friday to find out my card had been cloned and was being used in St Lucia.

I woke up  that would imply I slept.

Just sounds suspect to me and others but its up to Big Rex to trust you or not. We are a close family here so we dont want him getting burnt.

Bajanzx, welcome to the club (even though you have been a member for several years!). It maybe worth becoming a subscribed member of the club to help your case. As you're buying from another member, you'll both have some reassurance, but I would recommend you allow him to deal direct with your UK contact for the financial side of the deal.
