Lots of chit chat about the event on Noels thread... and plenty non relevant chat too.

Lets hope we get a decent turnout. Its a great event to watch but maybe not for everyone to take part.

Ian Greenfield has arranged for a priveleged 300ZX club parking area also.:thumbup1:

Spectators need to liase with Ian to ensure entry to the club stand.

This thread is for those competing who have confirmed(paid) entries.

Today was the last official day for entries but with 48 places remaining tonite for the main competitive Sunday event Im sure they will carry on accepting entries.

So........

1. Slick Pete. (main goal is not to be last in RWD class)

2.Ian Greenfield.(main goal.. beat Pete. 13sec quarter. 140+ flyer)

3. Jaffa

4. Bobgenie.(Eurospec team car)

5. Neal Weyman.

Edited by Slick Pete.

Ive paid so add me to the list Pete, my main goals to finish in front of Pete,

A quarter mile time of 13.anything and a flyer in the region of 140mph+.

But most of all just have a lot of FUN, and don't break anything.

Cool.

Im already excited about it. It is fun for sure, tho getting all three bits done in time is hard work.

I was just thinking on Sunday after Donington what a buzz it is to be able to accelerate flat out at max revs in each gear and dive into corners after stomping on the brakes safe in the knowledge that you wont lose you licence or end up alone and upside down in a ditch..

You will beat me on the quarter and the top speed flyer.

I might get you on the handling???:tt2:

Lets bring it on.

I believe Neal Weyman is competing too so our list isn't too bad after all.

But the question remains "WHERE THE HELL IS NOEL UHURE"

You need five for a team guys so if you can't get another 300zx you will need a different make car. Maybe Noz can bring his Pulsar?

I will be there but not expecting great things as the right bank is shot (with the left not far behind) and I am down to 370 rwhp :( maybe I should be worried about Pete :)

But I have got a 200 shot of NOS in the bottle so if I do manage to get through the day and make any finals I shall turn that on and think of England!

Looking forward to seeing you guys there

I paid on Saturday night from Italy!

that's a lot work done James well done mate be great to see it on the track again

List Updated.

Its OK Ian as you say. Just having a couple of cars more makes it more interesting.

Your club stand will be a nice addition also, giving others attending more opportunities to see 300ZXs and meet their owners.

I think most of us know in advance that prize winning in not readily achievable but it wont spoil a fun day out with the cars.

With Neal weighing in we now have 5, ill let TOTB admin know we now have a team entry.

Stop the press, Bobgenie id in the eurospec team so doesn't count.

Where Noz when you need him

Unless you PM me or send a message via Facebook, it's quite difficult to know there's yet another TOTB thread.

I'm flat out trying to get things done whilst my engine & car are in Bristol and my manifolds, turbos & wastegates are in Nottingham. Plus, I also need to map Jaffa's car so he too can make the event.

I've not owned a Pulsar for a couple of years now unfortunately.

Event pack and wristbands arived in the post today time to get the game face on. Roll on Sunday.

Yep. same here:thumbup1:

Bring it on!!!

and just like that I'm out again :( didn't get to map the car yesterday as we spent most of the day fixing a fuel pressure issue and then battling a coolant flow issue, teething issues of everything being new. Could have battled on but looking at the weather forecast I don't personally see the point.

Dissappointed not to go to TOTB (again!) but very happy with the progress being made in getting the car setup and ready to run in anger very soon

Gutted you won't be there again... I will see your car on track one day in my lifetime

Wow, bobs right up there. Considering the issues reported the other day he's really had a good day. That Granada seems to be a monster.
