112mph is still the fastest I've driven, but I'm sure I've been a passenger at far higher! Haven't pushed the zed yet though :whistling:

some one one here must have gone near the 200. its somthing on my list of things i need to do. i hope to get a gsxr 1000 in the next few months have some plans with that but after the car is on the road or coarse

Terminal Velocity at Woodbridge is what you want Dan 2.2 miles of cold war runway.

About 1.7 miles of good tarmac.

It was wet last time so the full runway wasn't opened up until late afternoon (to give extra stopping distance)

The big power cars struggled to get grip in the wet so Max speed on the day was 184mph

and here's the one to beat

I'll be there in the shorty hoping for mid 160s

I didn't take it last time I took the BMW (4wd 335d msport totally standard)

proper quick off the line but ran out of horsepower at about 125 then crawled to low 150s for the speed trap at the end.

I've done 180mph on my GSXR1000 Dan, It's also for sale in the "Other Miscellaneous" in the "for sale section" ,165 mph in the Evo.

the gsxr with a few littke mods would see 200 am sure. i was looking at gsxr other day but if i got one my car will never see the road and i cant do that to it . but i do want another bike at some point

Funnily enough I've recently bought a Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG and will be going for that 200mph target in the next couple months after a little tweaking. It's a challenge I set myself 10 years ago. Hit 200mph before I turn 30. I've only got a few months left.

Oh but so far... 172mph in the zed. :-D

if you try the 200 film it need to see that for sure.

173mph in my old R32 GTR, it was still pulling but I ran out of private road

I once did 202MPH in my first gf's dad's original GT40. I wasnt driving it, just a passenger and must admit, the speed might not have been accurate as this was before smart phones and GPS apps etc.

Fastest I've ever driven was 161MPH in a lambo at brands hatch. I do have the video proof of that some where

1990 Black MT NA LWB = 2014 - 2020 (Sold)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2015 - 2017 (Stripped & Scrapped)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2017 - 2021 (Sold)

1991 Black MT TT LWB = 2018 - 2021 (Sold)

1989 Red AT TT LWB = 2021 - XXXX (Kept)

An indicated 164mph in my E39 M5 but it hit the speed limiter (should be 155 but known for being lax) so hard I thought I had broken it as it was still pulling hard it seemed to throw me forwards. I know it didn't but a very strange sensation! Common thought is that it would have pulled onto around the 180mph mark without a limiter.

Mine is already tuned up, I said that "I did 180mph" I didn't say that the bike couldn't do more:tt2:, I bottled it at 180, then again I was on the Carlow-Dublin motorway in the early hours and was worrying about speed traps etc

Oh, I hit 176mph in the brothers GTR before he got the 1200bhp Rips Racing RB30 engine conversion, Now I'd say that thing will hit 200mph easily!!

I had a little session in my road legal, top speed car as I took it to work this morning to blow off the cobwebs. I took some screenshots of my sat nav...

Kept running out of road but the M3 was nice and quiet...

Finally managed to get a long enough stretch to get somewhere near its terminal top speed...

Well the days when I owned this little baby(my zzr1400)when riding to work on the same motorway I've used for 25 years, when it's quite and I was certain that you know who wasn't waching,I would do 170+ many a time and believe me at that speed there was NO room for error!
