Terminator Genisys - 270z

So, saw it recently and enjoyed it despite the paradoxes...I cant say I've really been bothered by Terminator movies since T2, but this one did it for me, it felt like old times.

 

But anyway...did anyone else spot the 270z getting totalled during the 80's scene? I'm sure they could have chosen something less rare. Could have been a 240, but it was brief and I've only seen the movie one.

    Ok, I'm now thinking the 240z was called 270z in the US. There was a 280z right? Is it all the same car?!

    No such thing as a 270z. It went 240z - 260z - 280z in the states.

    Weird though, if you Google it, it does produce image results with a title 270z. So people are calling something a 270z, perhaps wrongly. But eitherway, there was a zed in Genesis and they drove a truck into it. :(
