Few alignment issues to fix yet, really not convinced on how far back the rear wheel is sitting. Can't sort the camber out properly without causing grief with the bolt that holds the rear bumper on. Thoughts? Also the centre of the cat back is virtually on the floor...some massing required there I think. Seems crazy how little stops the exhaust swinging around, which I can actually feel now because the cars rock hard.

Aim for the top of the tree and you will reach the highest branch, reach for the moon and you will reach the top of the tree.

Surely the top of the tree is the highest branch?

(And don't call me Shirley).

Lol i didn't invent the saying. I suppose it depends on the type of tree. Realistically though maybe it should be, ...reach for the moon and reach the highest peak...

Pull out the chainsaw and you'll reach the top branch:laugh::lol:

That bumper bolt is a pain when going for lower offset wheels, but yours don't look extreme. How low is it exactly, would be interested to know the measurement between floor and lowest part of the rear subframe

I will have a measure over the weekend. It's the exhaust that's hanging down. I've got about 10mm of the rear tyre tucked in the arch, the camber is what's making them look a little sunken. The front I can just about slide my finger between the arch and tyre top. I'm thinking another 10mm to go to be perfect, just don't want to go so low it's useless.

From the sounds of it you need the attached measuring equipment to work out how low the car is

It does look properly nice though bud.

I appreciate what Gary is saying, but I know as far a low and fast goes I have a whole heap of learning by my mistakes (maybe!) ahead of me :w00t:

600BHP sounds like a good number to me:lol:

I like the 'Stance' Stephen........ Looking nice..... As long as it is still drivable and fun to drive then it isn't too low...... When it grounds out on EVERYTHING then it is too low....... Been there and won't do it again.... lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Cheers Russ. I would like different wheels, something wider. Just low on the financial priority list.

It's incredibly sharp. Body roll is non existent, it is however very harsh. Hopefully il take it out for a play this weekend.

Are those genuine LMGT4s? Very smart wheel.

That's a bit low IMO...... And whilst stock height does indeed look a little, well, high in comparison; I would say lower it - but still leave at least 5-10mm clearance between wheels and arches.

Unless you're racing it, you still need some comfort - it's a GT coupe as opposed to an out and out sports car; so I like to preserve as much of the original ZX spirit as possible:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

needs to go down a bit more in my opinion, i still want to drop mine more on the rear.

There's a blast from the past. That is seriously low. I take it you no longer have front arch liners?
