I don't have them either although I do have EBC which does control the boost, although still running her in, lol

You need the restrictor or you will only get Wastegate pressure, ie 7psi on stock turbos. Mine are plumbed up this way. I don't have the knock sensor or boost solenoids anymore, just to keep things simple. You can set it back to whatever you want with an mbc or ebc without them still but yeah.

It will work mate just at 7psi instead of 9. An MBC is cheapish but obviously you'd be running the risk of making too much boost playing around etc, not worth the risk.
