assuming the bottom pict is the headlight washers I wonder if the bottom of the bottle is lower as with the extra 1/2 inch pipework the bottle is in the way

by about 1/2 inch

sorry to hi-jack this thread, but my rear washer doesnt seem to pump out water. I can hear the pump going but nothing comes (!). The previous owner has also disconnected and smoothed off the aerial on the quarter panel. Is it possible he has disconnected the rear wash for some reason? The tailgate doesnt seem to fill with washer fluid (or any thing to be exact!), is there any way I can open it up and check the pip work?

Take the front bumper off and see if the tube is still connected. If it is, trace where it goes. As standard it obviously goes along the drivers sill and up the B pillar towards the rear screen nozzle. If the pipe is still going that way and still connected, you'll be pumping water into your bootlid or sill, so disconnect it at the pump, along with the wiring plug so you can't accidentally turn it on again. If the tube goes somewhere else, follow where it now goes and make your own mind up whether to leave it active or not.

Sorry, I'd read that as if the nozzle had been removed. Most of my post still applies, but following the tube should help you find if it's still going to the nozzle, and if there are any leaks. If there aren't any, perhaps the nozzle is blocked. Clean it out with a needle.

UK spec washer bottle is larger for extra motor. I changed mine out for the smaller jpsec type and used an separately mounted motor

for the headlight washers. The photo may help with your problem, let me know as I will be doing the same pipework later.
