I'm new to the forum as I only joined up a few weeks ago when I started to search for a 300zx. ( I currently have 2 x z31's in restoration. I have also got a Murano if we are classing that as a Z Car? )

I put a wanted advert in the classified section and had some people offer me certain cars, but they didn't come off in the end due to one reason or another.

Anyway this weekend just gone I finally managed to get hold of a Pearl White NA 1991 300zx. I am over the moon with it so far.

I'll upload some pictures tomorrow as everyone on forums likes pictures !! LOL!!

I'm not sure if its been part of the club in the past as the previous owner had passed away and it was his brother who was selling the car as part of the Estate, so he and I know nothing of the cars history.

All I know is that it has been well looked after in the past by the looks of things. There is no rust, shopping trolley dents or marks anywhere. It has Z Centre stickers under the bonnet, is fitted with brand new alloys and tyres. A set of coilovers which I am not sure of the make, but the top mounts are Gold and the legs black.

It has also got what looks to be a new Stainless full system fitted to it.

The only negatives are that the original spoiler has a few hairline cracks in the paint ( But with it being the OEM Sponge type, its no surprise ) and the stereo seems to be having a wobbly and everytime the speakers are connected I am getting a Safety message on the screen. ( Again, I can hopeflly sort this by rewiring the speakers)

Anyway, just wanted to say HI and that I will sign up and pay my £20 this week and become a proper member.

Thank you for the welcomes.

I will get some better pictures, but here a few to start with.

The car also has the T-bar shades and bags in the boot as well which was a bonus.

If anybody knows of this car, then please let me know. As I say, I have no idea of its history. Was it possibly a club car in the past?

Welcome!

I've seen that car for sale for a few months now and thought it looked pretty straight. From what I know, it's a fairly fresh import so you're unlikely to find too much history on it. Your V5 (when you get it through) should tell you your date of first registration.

Saw the ZedWorld sticker, so maybe I am wrong. PM JeffTT as he used to own what was ZedWorld. He have have some information about it still.

I looked under the bonnet and the timing belt was replaced by Zed World in 2007. ( It was only about 20,000 km since, so its not done too many miles since being done )

But it may have come into the country around this time and had the work carried out in 07.

I'll PM JeffTT, thanks for the heads up.

Every man and his dog is going to tell you ignore the miles done as the years are there.......replace, or if you like Russian roulette !!

Have you not got any paperwork? If you go on Directgov you can do an mot status check & find all the past mot info which will give you some idea of the work that's been done & if it's been off the road. Tells you what it's failed on. I checked on mine was quite interesting. Just need your number plate & number on log book when you get it.

When I get the logbook back I will check on the system and see what information it has.

I have got the last 3 x MOT's and the new keeper part of the logbook.
