Bike racks / roof racks seem to be a styling option for some - I have absolutely no idea why having a bike on the roof of your car looks in any way 'cool or stylish'. Started off with the rat-rod scene and then, of course developed on to the VW scene, where they think this is cool!

Agreed, but I just can't enjoy the look of a Z32 convertible with the soft top on. Did anyone make decent hard tops for the Z32?

Aside from that 2+2 hard top concept, which looked pretty good.
