So maybe he's got the only other one?

Ionic Dynamics in the US sell them, so they're definitely not "one-offs" - I doubt there'll be very many here in the UK though, so you've certainly got some bragging rights there :thumbup1:

Mine is indeed an Ionic Dynamics 99-spec made from carbon fibre. I bought it 7 or 8 years ago and collected it from Jose of Ionic Dynamics as I was in San Diego at the time. I ordered the carbon fibre one by accident and couldn't really be bothered to return it for the price difference, which, at the time was minimal.

The beauty of the Ionic Designs' replicas is that the moulds are taken directly from the original, unlike quite a few that are made over here which are copies of copies and they lose their shape.

Anyway, despite the workmanship being excellent, I have never have been one that's found carbon fibre an awesome thing to look at, it's a great material, but aesthetically, it does nothing for me, especially on cars as old as the Z32 unless it's a full track inspired weapon.....so I got it painted.

My car is also used on Ionic Dynamics' website.

Here's mine before I had it painted. You can see how long ago it was taken by the phones on the bed...and those awful bed covers!!
