Who's had new rear arches due to rust?

If you don't mind, how much did it cost etc? I'm just at a cross roads or whether its worth sorting the arch (only the drivers side) or maybe going wide arch instead

Keep it standard Lee - just buy a replacement arch infill panel from Mike at MJP (about £75 plus VAT) and have it welded in.....

I always wanted to go wide arch since day one of owning a zed. 10-11 years later and I still haven't taken the plunge. I keep looking at some other cars and how good they look and I think, I'll just stay normal. Depending on the overall costs involved, now might be a good time to take the dive though, thing is, I don't want to get it down and it be all rippley like some I've seen etc.

If its done correctly it wouldnt harbour rust. No more than normal. As for width restrictions we dont have any round here.saying that ive never measured how wide the car is. Hang on ill go measure it.

From arch to outer arch measured using planks of wood to keep an acurate measure mine comes in at78inch. Thats 6foot6" wide. Just shy of two meters by twocentermeters.lol.

Dont know what a standerd car is though.
