Prescott! Now there's a miscarriage of justice,, he should of fallen on his sword not be knighted by one!

 

Prescott's punch was the best bit of positive publicity he had as a politician. A bit like when Beckham had an affair with Rebecca the hired help. Both of these events raised those guys' ratings even though you wouldn't recommend either for a peerage based on those actions. Petrolheads generally love Clarkson, it doesnt make what he did (allegedly) ok

 

I heard Lord Grade (ex BBC chairman) say "no one is bigger than the BBC"...................since Jimmy Savile died!!!!

    another article speculating on possible replacements suggested Guy Martin.....though having read his autobiography I dont think

    it's his sort of thing, he's not a journalist and he could be an even looser canon!
