I've put off writing this thread for months,as nobody knows what to say to make me feel any better. There is nothing you really can say, but I know I have your support. As many as you know, I am having health problems. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, despite everybodies best efforts, the treatment has been unsuccessful and I am now terminal. Im not sure how much longer I've got, probably weeks, hopefully months but I will keep posting for as long as possible!!

You will be wondering what will happen to Zebedee as I am now too poorly to drive him. Well I have sold him to an active and respected member of the forum so he's not going to disappear!!

Just been reading through this thread again and it just dawned on me that it was started by Mandy one month ago today

to let us all know the tragic news, the time has gone so fast that it shows how time is precious and we need to keep as

many good memories as possible to reflect upon.

I'm so glad that I did get to meet Mandy in person on a few occasions and share those memories with her.

Very sorry to hear this. Next time the sun is out I hope we all grasp the opportunity and enjoy our zeds and be thankful that we are able to.

God bless her.

So sorry to read this:( our deepest sympathy to all family on this sad time, we met Mandy a few times at the shows and she really loved her zed, heartbreakering that such a lovely lady was taken at such a young age, Graham and Julie

I have a pic of mandy getting her prize but she was quite ill at that stage and I don't want to post it ,mandy really enjoyed that day and winning that huge glass trophy was the

highlight ,Ive got some pics of her with her car a few years ago at jae if you want them she loved her zx and loved all the shows and meets she went to ,I went with her a few

times and some of you may remember me ,she asked me 'do you want to come to car show and stay all day showing my car?' ,being a complete petrol head I jumped at the chance

and went with mandy to quite a lot of events ,Ive joined because I'd love to keep a track of the car she loved so much as it brings back some loverly memories and that's whats brought

me to this forum and registered then I found this thread ,I understand iangreenfield has the car now I remember chatting to ian at one of the shows and he came across as a true

enthusiast and its nice to know zeb's in good hands (no pressure ian lol)

Welcome Chris

That would be great feel free to put up any pic you think Mandy would be happy with

I'm sure they'll be plenty of pics of Mandys car from Ian as he takes it to shows

Hi Chris of course I remember you we have chatted a few times at shows. You can rest assured that zebedee will be looked after and plenty of pics as he gets out and about. If you keep your eye on the events posts it would be great to see you at some meets and shows etc. See you soon mate.

Welcome Chris and would love to see that pic of Mandy.

So,so sorry to hear this.

My thoughts are with the Family.

Sleep tight Mandy,

Darren xx

Cant find any pics of Mandy getting her prize at Coventry but cut that pic from here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?133580-What-do-you-look-Like/page18

Here's a couple of mine - like Chris, I also thought twice about posting it at the time. However Mandy was so proud to have won the award - and she did ask me to make sure I got her best side - so Mandy, this is for you.....x

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

A lovely lady that i,ve had the pleasure of meeting on few occasions and shared a few beers and a some laughs at the Stenson Bubble meets , a true loss for all .

My heartfelt condolances to all her family and friends .

it was a great day at Coventry it started with a massive rain storm ,mandys partner dave had been up extremely early preparing the car before it lashed it down polishing at 5am in the morning lol ,roads were flooded ,we missed the meeting point because of the rain ,we got a little lost ,but once we got there it cleared up a little but was a bit cold ,when the rain came back for an hour we went around the museum ,but once the weather cleared up again mandy was deep in discussion about her car with other zx owners for the rest of the day then the day was topped off with best car and a huge glass trophy ,a truly great day

I hope mandy wouldn't of minded she never posted pictures of herself and didn't like having her picture taken I don't know why she was a gorgeous looking girl

anyway I'm going to log off this was mandys space and I'm going to respect that now

Didnt know Mandy but I can see that she was well loved in the Zed community. Pictures show that she was a true Zedder. Condolences to her family. RIP.

I never got to meet Mandy, I was at Coventry and remember looking at zebedee but didn't know who owned it, it was my first club meet and was still finding out who was who on the forum as you do.

I did wander off into town for a bit and round the museum so I think I missed the award bit.

Anyway just reading the things that have been written here about Mandy just proves the kind of person she was, I can honestly say I had a tear in my eye reading these posts.

Family, friends, and loved ones do get taken from us all........

Memories are forever.........

My deepest sympathy to all...

I've "liked" Gary's post above, but it's still truly sad that it's there in the first place :(

Ian's a good representative for the club that Mandy loved so much, regardless of his being Zebedee's new owner. Thank you, mate :)

Yes its going to be an emotional day I'm humbled to be representing everyone and indeed Si I would have attended regardless of zebedee but he too has an important part to play on the day and I'm only too happy to oblige.

I didn't know the funeral was on Wednesday, probably missed the post. but I will be thinking about our Fellow member and her family, also agree Ian will make great representation for the club and Zebedee can say his goodbyes!
