I've got quite a healthy sum of cash that I'm looking to invest - but not in property.

 

Has anyone here ever bought a quality franchise? I've done a bit of research into companies that sell franchises, but just wondering whether anyone here's actually gotten anywhere. I'm not talking Utility Warehouse type franchises, I'm talking quite substantial franchises.

Iff you opt for stocks and shares then keep your eye on the ball on a daily basis...i off loaded a rook of Santander shares which have always been rock solid,end of last summer i dipped out at £6.00...the other week they where £4.50 :wack: i have,nt checked recently. I had all my eggs in one basket and could of had a serious nose bleed had i left them in the drawer long term..
