Taking my front belts to this place tomorrow http://www.seatbeltservices.co.uk

My driver's belt has been slow to retract for a while now and more recently, it lots in odd positions and now won't retract at all, so I have decided to have both belts' recoil and lock mechanisms refurbished so they should fly up like that of a new car! Anyone ever had this done before?

nope but that sounds good depending on price. would like to hear feedback on your findings.

Price is around about the £45 mark each which isn't cheap, but you are having qualified people work on it effectively giving the seatbelt a brand new lease of life. New ones are about £200ea iirc and I'm not even sure you can get them anymore?

Mine is a little more terminal than that. It won't even retract the slack, it's completely buggered. My D-rings are clean and I have treated them.

£45 each seems a very good price to me Si. Another nice touch on your Zed :thumbup1:

I think the change to the fuchsia pink belts like the pic you sent me earlier is a bold choice Si, but it's your car.
