and it's an NA

Writeup says it is a TT........

From the perfect set fitment, to the ground trembling note of his twin turbo powered V6 bolted up to an HKS Hi-Power. Every inch of Carlos’ build screams ambition.

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Yeah the yellow pram is a street car.

I have absolutely ZERO interest in 'drifting' and think the scene has actually drifted up its own ass! It seems that any obscure/horrid/beaten up car has an excuse to appear cool as the "oh, it's a drift car" card will undoubtably always be played and all the street kids with flat peaked caps with their jeans below their asses will think it's fresh and cool.

That thing with the shark on the side is a rotten heap of shit to look at, yet everyone thinks it 'looks siiiick' or whatever. I don't care that it has an RB26 under the bonnet; the fact of of the matter is, as a visual piece, it looks horrible. It looks like it should be stuffed away in the corner of some junk yard with dog turds on the seats and weeds growing through the engine bay.

A true race-car is where my interests lay, not a wannabe drift-hero king driving around in something that looks like it was dragged out of a ditch.

Make your opinions know Si, don't hold back. I'm not so sure the baggy low slung jean thing is in fashion, not since you and I were teenagers.

and it's an NA

And what's wrong with na track cars??? My little na's great fun round brands, I know there not as fast top end but they are still quick and fun in their own right.

Where's slickpete he'll back me up, (I hope)

Ouch I hope si doesn't count mine in that rant,

Ouch I hope si doesn't count mine in that rant,

That's not a Si rant....... just saying it how he see's it..... lol

I know he doesn't like my kit and probably doesn't like yours...... but I know Si can appreciate the time and effort we put into our passion for our Z's...... Even though Si doesn't like the look we went for..... I hope (Gulp!!!)

And mine is going back to stock as my taste has changed and I want a cleaner OEM look....(Getting Old).... So taking off my 13 year old bodykit and storing it in the loft...... ready for antiques roadshow in 50 years time.... lol

I guess I'm lucky to have the best of both worlds, the increasingly apparent social pariah that is my green na, and the garage gueen slicktop.

Lots of big words see now I'm not a yob with my trousers below my arse, well at least I pulled my trousers up anyway...

It's not a track car, so I didn't say say there was anything wrong with na track car's ....

Jumped on those comments a bit, was in a foul mood this morning, as my zed nearly killed me today, had a blowout of one of my rear tyres on the way to work, all good fun...

The guy in the video is all over instagram as "pacmanz"...very VERY well known 300 if not the most well known on the internet, may not be to everyones taste however i have to say aince ive been on this forum all i ever hear about someone doing something a little out there is moaning...i understand people on the forum like the standard 300 but its 300s like pacmanz that give out car a little more publicity...youll always see skylines, supras, rx7s, 200sx, 350z getting featured nowadays, hes repping the 300 well...gotta say i absolutly LOVE IT!!...if anyone wants to know the name of the spoiler its a "big country labs" spoiler...can get it from usa but if you get it from the australian website they post to europe....

As I say I actually like aspects of it, if it had a stock or far subtler spoiler and a 99spec front it would look fantastic, in my opinion.

I don't think you can really say people aren't or don't highly modify visually the z32, there's been many cars with lots of ascetic alterations. Some wild. It's just the fashion for huge bodykits and pumping sound systems isn't very fashionable now. That's across the board. The fashion is to go very clean and subtle, you've only got to look at what the honda kids are doing, very little fibreglass body kits compared to 10 years ago, and your more likely to find a roll cage than a play station in the boot.

Each to their own I say, however this is a discussion board so as long as people arn't abusive or dicatory they can voice their opinion. It's not like the club rejects membership of those who don't retain concourse cars, quite the opposite.

I retract my na statement, I have him on Facebook and last I saw he was doing an engine pull to replace with a 2JZ, so assumed na, but it's a TT.

Anyhow, I like the overall look, and as impractical as it must be for him to use, it wouldn't go anywhere on UK roads before getting beached!

Just as well because there aren't any!:x::tt2:

Ok. Maybe there are a small few.

ok I started this thread. I have had a change of heart. and here it is... just do what ever you want to your own z if you like it that way then do it as long as you think its good then who cares if you like a 20 foot tall spoiler and some 25inch wheels or paint ye car vivid pink then just do it

I think it's good to be different. Generally I like more zeds regardless of what's been done but it is nice to see some of the very nice 'close to stock' ones out there (I mean subtle mods like wheels and exhaust), so the likes of AndrewG, Funky Si and JoelyP's cars are beautiful. That being said, I also like the modified ones, love the look of Jaffa's race car, Jason Farrow's Beast, Zelda before she got fugly, the fridge etc etc. there's also some I don't like the looks of but can appreciate what work people have put in. Mine isn't as nice as a lot and its a bit of a sleeper but I love it and think it looks quite nice.

I like some aspects of the yellow one. Just not the spoiler on this occasion
