Today I got the holes cut in the mirror covers for the led repeaters-seeing as I don't have any on the Wings anymore....

 

Nice one but such a copycat, haha !!

 

Mine aren't amber anymore, I changed them to yellow to match all my other indicators :thumbup1:.

Indeed. As I said, about 3 years ago I fit the amber ones as they came in the packet like you have done but having the rears, wing and front indicators all changed to yellow led I had to change the amber ones in the mirrors.

 

The led 'board' just pulls out of them if you make a little slot, you will also find the soft rubber will discolor to the elements in time, when I re did mine I used new ones, my advise would be buy some more identical of course to sit on the shelf, you can then freshen them up with them in a couple of years time.

I wish all zeds could be in the condition this is in , seems like the 50k km on the clock must be genuine , very low mileage of around 35k !! sills are being smoothed , it had the usual jacking damage on the flanges and a few dints in the sills but not a spec of rust :thumbup:by far the cleanest one i,ve ever worked on . Bonded the tailgate skin on and glassed over the joint with a few laminations of glassfibre , that,s all smoothed , filled and primed now .
