I was certain that I would fit this to my car when I had it painted but a few weeks before I had a change of heart. I love the look from directly behind the car, but from some angles I find it looks too aftermarket and a bit too bulky. It kind of goes against the grain for my tastes.

One if my biggest issues is that it always looks good in photos so whenever I look back to decide, I like it! Either way, it's an excuse to share some photos I took a few weeks back and with the upcoming group buy, the TwinZ gear is quite topical.

Please note, this is not a for sale thread, should I decide to sell, it is already provisionally sold.

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Not bad! No pics but two buyers... But read the text guys, he already has a provisional if he sells it.

My moneys on spin doctor!

Sell, too aftermarket compared to the rest of your car

I really like them, but I think the style, shape and fitment of your exhaust don't work with it.

Hahahahha ah, it won't even fit on his car, not even close!! Gotta see this! :wack:

I think it looks pretty awesome. But as others have said, the rest of your car doesn't have enough modifications to compliment it. The stock look you have going on is better imho.

He is gifting it to me....

Just fit it Joel it's a seriously good looking bit of kit. I think it looks stock fresh and modern not ott or aftermarket. If your going to get caught up on being oem then there's a fair few other bits to remove including that spoiler. Your going for oem+ aren't you not oem concourse.

Haha. Danny this is 2+2 specific so is no good for your shorty, which also puts spin doctor out of the equation. Anyway, here are some actual pics!

Yeah, I did see your thread and was tempted to post on it but I still wasn't certain so didn't want to waste your time. If the perspective buyer doesn't want it, then you will have first refusal.

You need some perspective shots like those of your spoiler I think, to tell.

I agree, the photos I got were a bit pants! It was my own stupid fault for not trying it on before I had it painted and not after. During those test fits the diffuser damaged several areas of the still soft paint, and so I stopped and didn't get a final fitment to get decent pics.

Nevertheless, I tend to agree that my back end wouldn't really benefit from installing this and I'm sure it offers zero functionality!

I like it... Looking for one for my Zed.. Sure there will be plenty of a market for it here if you flog it...............................

it`s those side lips that ruin it for me. One assumes the twins bumper would be more intergrated. Where did you get it painted in the end Joel? Was it the place we discussed?

I agree, the side lips don't seem to flow with any other lines. I toyed with the idea of cutting off the side wings (that form the edge of the diffuser) and making the whole thing more slimline so it's less bulky off the bumper. That would make it more of an infill panel than a non functional diffuser, but it'll probably just gather dust for years while I procrastinate! Time for it to find another home.

I originally settled for a paint job at custom exotics, I accepted the quote and was just waiting for them to let me know when they can book me in. That was several months ago now and I'm still waiting for that slot! So yes, in the end I booked it in with Kraftwork.

Are you a happy bunny? I`d be interested to know how much they charged in the end. p.m if you wanna keep it a secret!
