I have to go against the majority here, and say that the front bumper does age the car. If I was to change anything on my cars bodywork right now it would the bumper, as I think the extra "driving" lights look naff. Having always liked the Twinz front end when it came out I would say go change it Spin, sure keep the old but IMO the Twinz front end is a big improvement and looks more modern and aggressive. Personally I never thought of it as a fish look alike, but more that larger intake area will keep the ICs and radiators cooler.

To be fair, if you're going to replace the strosek with something, the TwinZ front is a good candidate as the design is kind of an extension of the strosek anyway. I'm not a fan of the strosek front because of the area above the lower intake (where the fog and indicators sit), which is the part that the TwinZ have incorporated extra intake area for functional cooling and inlet.

All this joking aside, like Howard, I also happen think it would look better with a TwinZ front but I also understand that it would mean taking away part of the cars heritage and rarity. An original strosek kitted Z, in mine and many folks eyes, could be likened to an SMZ or a TKZ which you would be foolish to tamper with.

I love the TwinZ stuff, unfortunately, I never saw any if their front bumpers as being their finest hour. Everything else however looks really good.

I don't think it's that at all, it's just that most people don't like that bumper. I like ALL the twinZ stuff apart from that bumper. Their demo car is lovely until you see the front.

I love the TwinZ stuff, I saw this video and even liked the front view but then saw a few pics of it side on and it really doesn't do it for me. It's to blunt. I think the bottom lip should come out more

Si, did you get any teasers from the TwinZ guys of the new items?

Yeah, I spoke to Victor and Efrain quite a lot actually. They're currently designing 2 new front bumpers, they said 'we know you don't like our front bumper, so we designed some others'. I just laughed. The new ones will be quite different in design. One will be a reworked 99-spec style bumper and the other will be something completely different again. I am not too sure whether they'll release both, but certainly they're going to bring something new along. Early part of next year that/they will be complete.

They also told me they were moving into the Supra market and I think I saw some of their stuff pop up on my newsfeed for it. It does look good.

No, they were quite forthcoming with information. They still want to make more stuff. They're nearly finished with their wide arch kit, there'll be a few options with that. They had to get the Supra products out before they could finish the Z32 parts. They're also working on GT-R products too.

a few of the old southwest zeds on their my old white one with that horrid bumper i fitted back then, still got the car but it won't be coming back out with that front end!

That's Yami on the right, Baggins (ZTech butt holes) on the far left, Kev's thing (glad you haven't put caravan lights and a strange bumper on your black one!! :) Can't remember who's the blue slicktop was.

ha ha that was the very last meet i attended in the white zed, it went off the road a week later with what i thought was a failed starter, turned out the imobiliser on the alarm went faulty been waiting for a paint job ever since, i do like the spoiler on the white car was tempted to fit one on my black zed but opted for a fibre glass std version, maybe a 99 spec at some point
