^^^ I've seen that car in the flesh. I don't think the over fenders work on this example. I have seen some that look good. Draxan's car, which isn't what I'd usually go for, looked pretty good to be honest. The car above is nicely done, but it didn't look right and the MR2 rear lights....I just don't understand. But the whole thing was well done, just not my style.

I think they look a little bit too fast and furious I toyed with arches for my new car but decided not to the zed is a nice looking car standard and a few mods they look sweet i think sometimes you can just go too far but it is up to you :)

I had JUN arches on my old Z, rear wheels were 18x12 et -20 so had to lol

Made the car certainly stand out, looked weird from some angles though. But not the back! image.jpg

Wish I'd seen your zed in person baz,

been thinking of putting them on my green zed. I have to say not seen another zed with my bonnet before. apart from the mr2 lights sort of like that grey zed.

Yeah I dnt like mr2 lights either , I just cnt make my mind coz Zed as it is stock from factory is just perfect and dsnt really need any body mods coz its easy to spoil it .

That's BAD ASS Baz , U got mor pictures ?

Yes agree have only look good if goes with the look of the car otherwise it stands out like a sore thumb. Did really like Baz zed.

Baz you get my message pal

The issue with the design of the 300zx is the front arches already look like they have a wide body design, nicely flared right over the whole wing, unfortunately by the time you get to the rear the whole arch width closes up with little flare and body width.

Even with arch rolling and pulling you can only max that so far, so other than a bolt on arch the only other option is a full wide body kit...but few seem to be very well designed though!

For me its an arch flare and roll and max the spacing of the wheels for best results.

A lot of wide arches don't even gain you much on each side 25-50mm I believe, not a great deal. I personally don't like most of the wide body kits they seem to neglect the front leaving you with a triangle type stance.

Baz, I'm doing this arch work, just a quick question, I'm wondering once the wheels are offset an extra 50mm and the arches added did you have to cut away some off the original bodywork so the Tyres didn't rub on the original metal arch? I don't fancy cutting away bodywork tbh. Im doing this mod so I can raise the ride height and still have the wheels super close to the arches for that nice stance but also have a little extra Ride height for less driving inconvenience. BUMPS AHHHHH

Hi Jimmy just seen your reply. I never got round to cutting the arches underneath, it's something that I had planned as the tyres did hit the original arches, but the car failed MOT miserably on rust so it never made it far enough to get them trimmed. But yeah if you want a good ride quality and not fear every bump you should be giving them a trim.

Love the look from the back with them on. Proper aggressive

Loving that photo Baz, Are you running a wide arch Z at the moment??

No mate just a skinny standard body  :(

Yeah I bought some jun fibre glass arches put then against the arches and was like erm no **** this can't be assed, they need too much trimming and work to get them fitting right. Maybe plastic ones would sit more flush without too much work.
