hi all after searching around for some 550cc injectors i came across these on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A46-00-6X-YELLOW-INJECTOR-INJECTORS-JECS-OEM-555cc-NISMO-SUBARU-NISSAN-SR20DET-/151417371814?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

after talking to the seller he confirmed these would not fit my car but however he could offer me ones that would fit my car remanufactured in japan again and jecs injectors and advised me they would only be around 530cc as they would be refurbs the cost 160 delivered or 190 delivered with flow chart obviously that seems quite cheap so just wanting peoples opinions on this thanks in advance

there ... ok suppose .. but you will need the adaptor kit to make them fit in to the early inj rail ... or get a aftermarket one

Could you expand mark? Be good to hear some real world experience.

The yellow Nismo pintle-less injectors are spot on as they are simply rebranded JECS injectors. They're actually 615cc.

Cheers for the reply guys ive gone for them but the seller said he can get the ones that will definatly fit my feul rail and will be around 530cc but will be a different colour but still jecs so he says does anyone know wgeee I can get a them flow tested as would rather get it done myself for peace of mind cheeers

There are plenty of places around the country that offer injector flow test/cleaning services. I understand Noz does or use to offer this service? From memory when I had mine done a while back, it was £25 for the flow test with report or £90 for an ultrasonic clean, flow test and balance with report. Prices included return shipping so relatively inexpensive when you consider the possible repercussions of fitting an unknown condition injector.

Pretty sure Hellraiser had his flow tested and cleaned about a month ago. He might have an answer for you.

I have Subaru yellow injectors which I had flow and cleaned £90 for six injectors, there are adaptors around but I made me owny3unezy5.jpg , they been fitted for 2 year now with out any probs, just need to upgrade the rest of the engine ££££££ " and yes I know it's in wrong way round, it just looked good for a nice picture - facing the right way now"

Is that just a 5mm or what ever it is depth hollow tube to raise the cap? Also did you use new style caps?

I use the early inj rail caps with the D-rubber and a spacer, to put the later injectors into a early fuel rail you will need adaptor for the later injectors which you can buy, but I made mine from aluminium bar turn down with rubber O-ring's

He is a pic of a spare injector with adaptor quhxmenu.jpg8anfqada.jpgzavevu6y.jpg3u9b3eqa.jpg

After cleaning these flowed at 545L/min@3 Bar, I think these have a better spray paten over the single type(early ink)

i was just wondering if would you mind sharing the dimensions of your spacers please?

I had redraw it as iPhone couldn't pick up pencil lines, the spacers are about 4.5/5mm I think, a o-ring on the injector pushes down on the top so the spacer depends how good the oem injector seal in the injector rail.

Are you from an engineering background Ian? That drawing is exactly the way I was taught in college, even down to the number orenentations.

Yes engineering is my background and my hobby to, I have made a fully working 4 axis cnc milling machine with a dermal 30K rpm for engraving.

I'm now working on a automatic tool changer for it. I try and make as much as possible for my Zed.
