I have a beeR, I like having it for track use, that and my rev counter doesn't work so it's useful to know it's there,

And it's childish but there's something satisfying about spitting flames at tailgaters...

I would like a BeeR limiter (there's a joke there isn't there) not for the flames just for the lean out protection in second gear in the wet.

Explane tom .do

your on get a group bu up going there cheaper than i first thought anyways, i thought they were over the two mark but there not there allready only 150 ,got to able to get a good dicount going with say ten , is there ten imature men on here, i think so.

I'd have one :thumbup1:. And what you said above Spin, this is my understanding.

A normal rev limiter cuts fuel, this means you're running lean at 7000rpm and it's not a good idea.

A BeeR cuts the spark so you still get a dose of fuel for cylinder cooling and it doesn't run lean.

Obviously this means it runs rich which isn't great either, and you put flames through your turbo, but mine would be honestly for wet er... "non standard departures" from T junctions in first and second, the revs can hop up to the limiter playing that silly game.

Just make sure you get the right beeR, as some only work with certain makes.

Btw mines on a na, not sure if I'd put it on a turbo,

Easy to fit, I have mine wired to the handbrake for a sort of noisy launch control

the benefits of this is so you have fun and don't run lean?

The disadvantages are your putting flames through your exhaust system on an n/a and on a turbo, through your turbos?

Is it road legal?

Hows that work.

Wow, I always thought these were a little pointless too, but if that's really what they do.....hell, I'd rather hammer a masonry nail through my scrotum!

They have 2 settings, first is max, on mine it's set to 7000, other is switch able either by a switch or clutch pedal switch on handbrake switch, mines set to 3500 on handbrake,

They are have there uses, and certainly more fun then castration by masonry hammer
