Spotted on the A50:in Stoke today. I was in the Zed and he actually cruised alongside me smiled and gave the thumbs up. I never saw one like this before. What is it?

...and very ugly! I used to live in Malvern which is where the Morgan factory is. I used to see the Aero8 quite often and boy is it a cross-eyed ugly mother of a car. TBH, Morgans have never appealed to me.

I believe it has the BMW 4.4 V8 - and does indeed go like stink - it's a fair bit more modern than the usual Morgan; but fugly as uck....:wink:

Yeah I can concur it did go like stink - It overtaked me on the Junction of the A500/A50..... I chased this thing hard up the first part of the A50 which is three lanes wide and pulled in front then dropped back to the inside lane....after coming alongside and giving me the thumbs up and a smile (when my passenger got this pic) he headed for the vanishing point pretty bloody rapid - though I may have tried to give him a good run for the money if my car was running properly

 

AS for ugly - come on guys - anything that stylish has gotta be pretty good fun!

I really like these from the rear and the side but from the front they look like they have just hit a tree...

They look like a new generation of hotrods, just a lot more expensive!

It certainly is a novelty to see a Morgan, trouble is they are a bit like porches and all look pretty similar, I've seen a few now. I also don't think they look all that special, defiantly not as expensive as they are. My car of the moment is the lambo aventador I've seen three since yesterday funny enough, but it's a seriously serious looking car like a cross between a jet fighter and a batmobile. There is a long list of stuff if buy before a Morgan.
