It's like a prototype that didn't get toned down, needs time to become less out there.

I was following one for a few miles yesterday. Wow wow wow it was stunning and it went like stink. Beautiful car. Very futuristic styling.

Up until 2007 the car that made me sit open mouthed every time i saw one was a TVR Tuscan

From 2007 that was replaced with the Audi R8, I know it's not stunningly beautiful but i love em

The BMW i8 is now my favourite looking car out there, it's an absolute stunner and the sound (albeit slightly artificial) is superb, i will be buying one if i win the lotto :)

Did you not like the Sagaris ??

Not seen one out on the road, but I saw one in February at the BMW Museum in Munich. They do look amazing. It only has a 3-cylinder engine though doesn't it? Appreciate it's hybrid and has good power, but other than than its physical appearance, I am no fan of the sound of 3-cylinder motors.....they remind me of this!

As for the comments on TVR, the last beautiful and sexy TVR was the Cerbera.

I LOVED the sagaris but the tuscan at the time was the first of the next generation of TVRs that i saw when i was younger and i always had a massive soft spot for it - it's on my list of dream cars for the garage :)

It sounds very much like a rough raw V6 but with the leccy whine it has a really individual sound to it!

Ahh the cerbera, i love all TVRs - the interior of the cerbera was always one of my favourites

Yes I Have seen one blast past me on the motorway , fairly incredible site to be honest, I think it had only come out that day, so I assume it was a showroom car

The guy who lives beside the entrance to my unit has a blue one. Very different not 100% keen at the moment I think the wheels don't look right.

The doors lift up like a gull wing style and leave exposed chassis which looked to me like dry carbon...

Just to add to my comment; It had a '14 plate so was registered

And on that TVR note, the Sagaris is one of my fave cars of all time as it looks just so raw and aggressive

Oh right, I hadn't seen any at home but last two times I've been here ice seen a handful of them.

Whilst I have not seen one in the metal, I am inclined to agree....

.......All electric cars suffer this IMO. Why not just make them "car shaped" instead of some daft futuristic bubble, like the Leaf and Prius?

McLaren has done well with their new hybrid supercar - ditto Porsche - so why not BMW....?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Correct, Tesla are American. Seen plenty of those, but mainly in California.

LOL....."is" my learned friend:wink: ..........Although I do believe they also have a facility in Maidenhead as they were advertising a job vacancy I might have considered last year!!
