Plenty of help and advice on here Steve. Put the full spec of your car up and a list of parts required and I'm sure you will be happy with the response.

pop some pictures up too!

Welcome to the club and good luck with the project

Adam

Welcome to the club mate :thumbup1:

This is the place to be, don't forget the pictures of both your cars, and I hope you find what you're after.

theres pictures of my new 300z & my last project S13

the OEM parts i need are

Passenger Seat runner or new front seats

The panel around the wiper blades with the slots (skuttle panel i think)

Steering wheel Badge

rear view mirror

stereo cage / mount

possibly all new interior parts if i cannot re cover whats there at the moment (really poorly done leather retrim!)

im sure there are many more undiscovered things i will be needing !

There's a rear view mirror on eBay for something like £15.

Scuttle panels you are better off buying new as used ones tend to be very fragile, and the fixing are normally shagged. ZCentre do them, although I found it cheaper to get them imported from the US (CZP sell RHD ones).

White is good! Just change it; I went for Lexus Starfire Pearl and it looks clean. :)

has anyone seen a 300zx TT with the number plate OIW 5417 ??

looking like im going to have everything i need except a passenger side skuttle panel .. anyone got one ??

  • Author

thanks for the link but they are very expensive, understandable though being custom made !

Actually they're not that bad when you consider brand new OEM replacements with new clips cost about £230. Replaced about 80% of my external trim and it's cost me about £700 LoL

I have a freshly refurbed set of scuttle panels fresh satin black with fittings if yo are interested they are very very good condition.

£70 posted for both
