Do all US engine parts still fit on a UK car, or more specifically Left hand drive cars and right hand drive cars?

 

I'm looking at getting some parts from Z1, head gasket kit, and silicone hoses and such. but just thought I'd better check if everything is in the same place, connections to the heater matrix etc.

I believe there are the same. The looms are different but still can fit. Also the brake booster and clutch booster pipes I would imagine to be different.

Just came across the break brace too, it had a choice for LH or RH. should of answered my question there. everything with out the option will fit. :oops:

Lhd and rhd heater matrix is not the same

Basically anything from the balance tube back through the firewall and the dash including door cards is different. So, brake lines, vacuum hoses, clutch lines, engine harness + Starting/charging harness. Headlights are also different as is the slam panel and bumper bracketry which are completely different.

Main boost hoses will be the same though as well as gaskets and other serviceable parts.

I think they are. The matrix is different and I am pretty sure it's in a slightly different position. I'd need to double check on that one.

I emailed Z1 and they said them selves they're not sure if they fit either.

The two heater hoses that connect from the back of the block to the heater matrix. amomgst other things, whatever otherr hoses i need and possibly a head gasket kit.
