Just been told by Matt who purchased Silver streak off me, that he is going to break her up for parts :sad: he reckons aint worth trying to sell her, even though just passed mot!!!

That is a shame Dave, it's a lovely motor.

The death of the Zed :no::no: I know sometimes it's difficult not to break them but surly it's worth selling as a whole.

What spec zed was it? I maybe back in the zed game soon. I'm unwell and in hospital at the moment but hoping to be back in a zed soon! This is my first post for months :lol: although I have been on every now and again checking the classifieds.

Can't because my Zed is still with Jeff and the engine that I did that on is waiting for a rebuild by Jimmer.

 

It was quite a funny night really. We were talking about ages of members and as the coversation went I said I don't look my age and then when I got home after outdragging him he called me and told me I don't drive like it either !

Pretty much as above spec, but removed manifolds and fitted mike smith cast due to issues with the greg dupree blowing, also the owner stu sold it to uprated the wheels to 19" and I uprated the front brakes to 346mm discs [i think] and 8 pot calipers from k sport.

 

Car failed mot on a track rod end last week and thats it.

Looking really cheesy now IMO, time hasn't been kind on the 'styling' at all.....mind you, I thought it was rather garish looking when it was built with all its fibreglass bits glued to it. Clean looking still though.

Nope, gone through a few owners and I've never managed to get the plate back. Many have tried to sell it to back to me at silly prices.
