As title states, I am just wondering what the going rate is for a 99 spec front bumper in good condition with all the fogs and indicators?

I'm not selling (just yet) but am just weighing up my options.

Depends on the condition I guess. Has it be repaired before?

Going rate is around the £200 mark for a second hand one with lights.

Well Tom, being so close to me....... I will let you remove my veilside front bumper and fit the 99 spec for me and I won't even charge you the £200...........

I think that's a great thing and I would contribute and I hope the rest of the forum would too. In fact, I think it would be considered a 'heroic act' if you were to then destroy said kit with a hatchet, have someone film you and then upload to youtube. :D

Si has spoken! Russ, you must obey!

£200 for a genuine 99 spec with lights is good but any day if the week, wish I had the cash for that right now.

I have a genuine 99 bumper to fit best 300zx bumper around by a mile makes the stock tt bumper look lame

+1 stock bumper should never got out of the factory

I agree the 99 bumper just changes the look of the car so much its just perfect in every way. plus it lets air in to rad and air to the intercoolers unlike the stock tt bumper

I prefer the 89 spec tt bumper tbh. Once the stonechipping is smoothed it looks really good. Add a Stillen type III lower lip and it looks awesome. Check Richards pic in this month's COTM to see how good it looks.

yes I do like his car very much the lip does look better but the bumper look really dated now.

Ahem... Good point Dave!! I love the 99-spec and would upgrade to that all day long - or so I thought until I saw the Stillen Type III lip for the '89 spec. It transforms the original look and does away with the "overbite" appearance.

But back on topic, I'd expect to (and would happily) pay circa £200-£250 for a second hand OEM 99-spec bumper with lights:thumbup:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

You buy this one mate, then GIVE me your old one. Everyone's happy :)

Totally agree. It's more inkeeping with the car's lines. I love the original TT bumper, especially with moustache! Brings it up to date without detracting from its shape. I find it far more purposeful and it was ONLY fitted to the TT model.
