Right guys, we're getting closer and closer to this event. I need to give the events organisers' a final expected list by the end of the week so that we can secure a plot big enough. We have about 20-25 cars from 350z-club, about 3 or 4 from Zclub.net and about 25 from here (some however aren't with their cars).

Please see list below. If you're no longer able to attend, please advise asap, in addition, if your name is on the list and you're NOT taking your Z, please also advise asap. We're expecting a big turnout (40-50 cars), so the more accurate figures I can get, the better. Finally, if you'd like to come along and your name is not on the list, PLEASE advise asap. :)

For all those that are attending, Steve and I have agreed on a pre-event meet up point at Tesco's car park at the following address which is only about 4 miles from Beaulieu. We have been advised that we all need to turn up as a group, so please don't be late. ;)

Address for the Tesco store is as below. I will aim to be there between 8.30 and 9. Event opens for exhibitors about 9.30.

Sizer Way

Dibden

Southampton

Hampshire

Sorry mate, can't do that - isn't there a Waitrose nearby instead?

Big poo! Was looking forward to seeing you again Mike! I am not too sure, I'll have to ask Steve that one. Neither will be open at the times we're getting there though as it was be 9am on a Sunday.

......or are you being sarcastic about Tesco? lol

To paraphrase the late great Alan Coren

The only good thing about Tesco is that it keeps the riff-raff out of Waitrose.

Haha! It won't come as a surprise to you that I do shop at Waitrose. Thankfully we have one in Portishead!

We are however just 'using' them for their car park, so that should give you some solace!

Please add me to the list please! Car is working again and it needs a drive across into the New Forest!

Will do Greg! Your name will be on this list in the main thread in the events section. :)

Supermarket snobbery...haha. If you think tesco is bad you may wish to try Iceland or ASDA on a busy Saturday I can virtually guarantee you will leave with a strand of chav flu. I can also recommend a local Tesco so far up its own arse they would look down on the queen. I point blank refuse to do ASDA of a weekend, we do LIDL on a Sunday morning as early as possible which is never too bad.

On subject though, yes the tesco branch doesn't open till 10 due to Sunday trading so will be virtually empty at 8.30am

Iceland is awful! I have only been in one once and it's like something out of the 1980s! As for Asda, it's the fonts they use for all the wording and pricing. If anyone is aware of the 'people of Walmart' website, those same types you WILL find in Asda, coincidentally, Asda is actually owned by Walmart.

Nothing wrong with Lidl. The fresh produce is very good quality.

Why don't we have this?????????

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Talk about thread Drift!!!....guess I'll have to watch it again in case I missed something about Beaulieu...

  • Author

Right, I have just reconfirmed with Caroline at Beaulieu of our numbers. She's putting plot together for us that can accommodate up to 50 cars and we'll be the biggest gathering of all other marques and models, so this is a good show on our part. Understand there are over 200 vehicles there on display, plus of course the excellent museum and theme park around it.

It should be an AWESOME day and the weather is looking like it should be reasonable for the Sunday too!

Can I please stress the pre-meet point and the respective times. Because of this event, its size and indeed our own size, we ALL need to arrive at Beaulieu at the same time, therefore we all need to meet at Tesco around 9am and we aim to leave no later than 9.20 (if anyone has watched the film 'Clockwise', they'll know that time well)!

See you all on Sunday! :)

I don't think we'll be 40 Z32s, but we should get to that figure as a total Z car figure! Catch a flight to Bristol Gary and drive down with me! :)

Thats a great offer Si and would love to drive down with you but not going to make this one mate :( Appreciate the offer and one day we will meet up. Enjoy the show and I look forward to the pics.

No problems and understand. I am sure there'll be lots of piccies. :)

I think so, 3 or 4 people have dropped out, so the late runners will make up the short fall. We have space for 50 vehicles and possibly a little more.
