Going to start the plans to get the Zed back on the road, still haven't decided if the head needs to come off yet, but the plenum does to fix the water leak. so seen as though it's coming off, it's not gunna go back on the same. but struggling to decide what to do with it,

The obvious choice would be to polish it, or even powder coat it chrome, but I'm worried it would be a Tw*t to keep clean. So I've thought maybe a nice black, grey or even a red. along with a contrasting rocker cover and throttle cover, and maybe timing belt cover.

But can't decide, need some inspiration. So what have you got?

Not even after similar colours to what would match mine, but just on colour schemes as a whole, I remember Groovers looking beautiful, although a yellow would look out of place on mine, maybe the same style just with different colours. if you get what I mean, so get your pics out...

Mine looks like this, needs a freshen up tbh after a couple of years. You get the idea though, bit different to the normal polished plenums etc.

that is a bit different, what did you use? is it just paint?

The plenum is done with BBQ paint, the rockers were done in normal rattle can gloss, that hasn't worked long term so needs redoing. The timing belt and everything else was rattle can.

Looks good rolandas, very clean.

Thought there would of been more of a response though, normally don't have to beg for people to get there photo's out.

Mine is completely standard so here is a pic of Jason's Beast

Tut tut....all those different shades of blue, no spring covers near the throttle bodies and no diagram on the fuse box......tut tut .

Oh and btw, please check out the following thread for copious pics of mine !!

That is a great idea, what did you do with the pipework, is it all custom?

Na power steering pump and pot. Just reverse 90º elbow on pump so it faces the front and cut one pipe at the front

Jut need to mount pas pot as high as possible. It does the job. Second year with this setup and mine is daily driver

The other option I've seen is up by the brake booster. Don't like the idea of trailing the PS line up past the turbo though...

Looks like some serious work there, I really like the grey plenum, I may well do something similar, try and get it as close to the car colour as I can.

And that Is a really nice idea, wondered where it had gotten too.

Here is mine...

And every time I start the thing the viscous sucks every bit of dust from around the car and drops it over my engine lol...

That's a similar theme as to what I was guna do, just red instead of orange, and probably a red balance bar, what colour is your throttle cover?

Looks really shiny though, is it polished or powder coated? or some other wizardry?
