Is there any precautions I should take before starting a zed that's been unused for approx 2yrs. Is there any need to crank it without firing to get the oil moving? Or any other suggestions?

Which one is it Phil?

The low mileage Sultan car. It's kept in a lockup nearby. I've just paid it a visit - it's a tad dusty/dirty. I'll post a pic later.

Hey Phil - glad to hear you still have it; and are considering bringing it out of hibernation........

As steams says, fuel pump fuse then crank buddy

Once you've done that though, get in and drive it, DO NOT leave it to idle from cold for 10 minutes like some people do thinking they're doing their engine huge favours!! Just take it steady.

...... And I agree with the above 100%
