first thread asking for help with the new zed.

yesterday i changed the shit radio that came with my car for an equally shit one but with aux in.

Even though some complete retard has cut out the original wiring and bodged all the wires together (very old school), i manged to get it to work (although i will need to replace the original connectors if someone has some in a breaker that they can give me :) ).

today i went to go to work and the radio won't turn on and the clock and internal lights don't work either.

can some one please tell me which fuse i need to look for and where it is as i am too old to be all bent up under the dash trying to search for the problem.

any help would be gratefully received.

thanks mate but already downloaded and printed that.

i have checked audio 1 + 2 fuses but they were fine.

i have read (while im supposed to be working) that it could be down to the accessory relay under the bonnet, guess i'm guna be checking fuses all evening :(

I'm actually hoping for all the connectors behind the radio with some wire still attached so I can put it back exactly as it should be.

That's exactly what I need with some of the original wire so I can match and solder back to how it should be.

CheerZ Andrew.

Dave, if you take some pics of the 2 you're after (so I know exactly what they look like), I will cut them off my spare loom.

Although, if you're going to the trouble of splicing in a new connector, I would recommend you just splice an ISO connector straight in. This negates the requirement for an adaptor harness that converts the car harness to an ISO type connector (that your headunit harness will plug in to) and also simplifies/tidies up the wiring behind.
